General Admission $10 per day

There will be continuous live acoustic music in the Bar/Lounge area of the Bearsville Theater both days, included in the price of admission.

Many of the performances will be Luthier Demonstrations, with fine and famous musicians playing for Exhibiting Luthiers, or Luthiers performing on their own instruments.

Plus some of the best local, regional, national acts, great guitarists and instrumentalists, performing for you and the builders’ community.

There should be some exciting impromptu pairings and jams. List of confirmed Artists below, more TBA, schedule TBA, all subject to update and change, of course.

There will also be Scheduled Guitar and Music Workshops and Clinics on Saturday and Sunday, during Show Hours, by separate admission. Limited space, Advance Reservations recommended.

WORKSHOPS/CLINICS:

The Woodstock Invitational Luthiers Showcase presents a selection of instructional clinics and workshops for musicians of all levels. All Clinics will take place at The Alchemy Café (right next door to the Bearsville Theater).

Participants should bring their own instruments, capos, tuners, accessories, and any permitted recording devices. All Clinics will last one and a half hours.

Cost is $35 per Clinic, cash only please.

Space is limited; advance reservations recommended.

On the main stage of the Bearsville Theater - Not For Sale! Please Do Not Touch! – significant historic, vintage and contemporary guitars and spectacular stringed exotica, a mini-museum of rarities encompassing over a century of the luthiers art.

Collector and authority Jeff Doctorow is generously loaning the following instruments: Harp guitars by Joseph Bowman, Chicago, late-1800s; Knutsen; Maurer; Selmer-Maccaferri; Fred Carlson’s “New Dream”; Linda Manzer’s “Pikasso”, made for Scott Chinery. A 1937 Willi Wilkanowski archtop.

Contemporary flattops by Edward Klein; Thierry Andre; Stephan Sobel; Sheldon Schwartz “Oracle”; Michihiro Matsuda; Alan Beardsell. 

Plus vintage and antique Middle Eastern ouds and lutes, loaned by Sharon Klein, and more!
