FRANK VIGNOLA & VINNY RANIOLO

(Presented by La Bella Strings/E. & O. Mari, Inc., Newburgh, NY www.labella.com)

Frank Vignola is one of the most extraordinary guitarists performing before the public today. His stunning virtuosity has made him the guitarist of choice for many of the world's top musicians, including Ringo Starr, Madonna, Donald Fagen, Wynton Marsalis, Tommy Emmanuel, Mark O Connor, the Boston Pops, the New York Pops, and guitar legend Les Paul, who named Vignola to his "Five Most Admired Guitarists List" for the Wall Street Journal. Vignola's jaw-dropping technique explains why the New York Times deemed him "one of the brightest...stars of the guitar".

Even though his career in music is only at the beginning, Vinny Raniolo has had many opportunities that take most players a lifetime to achieve. At age 27, Vinny has already toured the world and has performed and recorded with many great musicians such as Frank Vignola, Bucky Pizzarelli, Tommy Emmanuel, Tony Trishka, Casey Driessen and Matt Flinner to name a few. Vinny is also an educator and has taught guitar for many years privately and through college level master classes.

KINOBE & THE AFRICAN SENSATION

Born in Uganda, Kinobe is a gifted multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and composer steeped in the music of his homeland, with ears and heart open to the pulse of the world ~ Kinobe is a unique artist. Together with his band, The African Sensation, they are the vanguard of Ugandan performers representing the inspired synthesis of African roots and global fusion. Driving polyrhythms underlay transcendent melodies on traditional African instruments – koras, kalimbas, adungus, endongos, balaphon, and percussion – to show, once again, that music is the most beautiful, universal language.

Kinobe is committed to bringing love and joy to people around the world, using music as a voice to create peace, and to champion a better future for children everywhere.
