Located in the Artists District in Peekskill, just 45 minutes north of NYC, The BeanRunner Café, is a celebration of food, family, music and art. The menu is eclectic and funky, ranging from humus or Caribbean chicken sandwiches to fruit smoothies, specialty soups and desserts. The cafe also serves fine wines and beers. The Cafe includes a performance stage, art gallery, lounge area, dining room, and outdoor patio. The Rich Dashnaw Eclectic Project performs everything from straight up Jazz to Blues, Classic Rock, and Funk. A collaboration of some of the best musicians from the area, they play everything authentically - be ready for anything!

Rich has maintained an active performing career on both guitar and bass.He has been the upright bassist for Westchester Symphonic Winds since 2015, with concerts at the Tarrytown Music Hall, venues throughout NY, and July 4th concerts at Caramoor, in Katonah.
He has played with show bands in the Catskills, jazz trios, big bands, blues bands, chamber groups, and for religious institutions since the age of 12. He is a new member of The Whiskey Crows based in Long Island,NY - playing guitar and writing horn arrangements. He leads his own jazz trio on guitar or upright bass.

Born in Havana, Cuba, Tony Leon launched his singing career with Los Melodicos. He went on to work with the Niño Rivera Group and the distinguished Modelo de Miguelito Cuni band.

Tony was the soloist for renowned trumpeter and orchestra leader Alfredo 'Chocolate' Armenteros. Their album, Prefiero el Son, recorded with S.A.R. Records, went gold. His years with Chocolate included group concerts, where he worked alongside music greats such as Roberto Torres, Linda Leida, Papaito, Alfredito de la Fe, Alfredo Valdes, Jr. and Marino Solano.

In 1987, he became the lead singer for José Fajardo y Sus Estrellas. It was the legendary flutist and band leader, José Antonio Fajardo who gave Tony his title: El Leon del Bolero.

Tony has performed in concerts with Willie Chirino, Ray Baretto, David Valentino, Cachao, Hansel y Raul, Tito Puente and Johnny Pacheco. He continues to delight audiences with his unique voice and mastery of the bolero.

Charlie Apicella studied composition and improvisation with musical titans Yusef Lateef and Pat Martino and was trained as a historian by Archie Shepp and Dr. Billy Taylor. As a young guitarist he met his idol BB King, who offered him advice and shared some stories. He has performed concerts and recorded with jazz legends Dave Holland, Sonny Fortune, and John Blake, Jr. as well as contemporary masters Joe Magnarelli, Vic Juris, Dave Stryker, Don Braden, and Jon Herington of Steely Dan.

Charlie Apicella is the Director of Music Curriculum for The Blues and Beyond. He is an Eastman Guitars Featured Artist; a Guild Guitars Sponsored Artist; and a ZT Amplifiers Official Artist.

Jenna Asher, 17, teams up with the Hudson Valley Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association to showcase talent in the Westchester area. This event is part of THE LONGEST DAY fundraising event for the Alzheimer's Association and will raise money to help fight Alzheimer's disease.

Admission will be $15. All money from admissions will be donated to the Hudson Valley Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.

Sue Maskaleris and Trio do Rio perform original Brazilian jazz. Sue Maskaleris is a pianist and vocalist and is the composer and lyricist for the group. The Trio includes Nelson Riveros (guitar and vocals), Ariel Robles (electric bass), and Samuel Martinelli (drums).

Sue's latest CD, "Love Is the Key," ranked #6 on the Latin Jazz charts of the Roots Radio Report for 2021. Her first 2 CDs, "Unbreakable Heart" and "Bring Nothing But Your Heart" feature jazz legends Eddie Gomez, Lenny White, Mark Murphy, Michal Urbaniak, Mark Egan and Toninho Horta.

Nelson Riveros' "The Latin Side of Wes Montgomery" charted #2 on the JazzWeeks chart last year.

Puerto Rico's Ariel Robles has worked with David Valentin, Papa Vásquez, Giovanni Hidalgo, among others and played on the Grammy-winning Calle 13.

Brazilian educator/producer Samuel Martinelli has performed with Claudio Roditi, among others and recently founded the Brazilian Rhythm Workshop.

Local artist and lead singer of Hudson Valley's own Faded Rose, shares a collective of original music and puts a unique spin on some classic covers.

Inspired by the works of artists like Stevie Nicks and Alanis Morrissette, Rosie brings a unique sound that spans multiple genres with just a hint of 90's alternative.

Heartfelt lyrics and beautiful melodies make up this songstress's collective.

She has played throughout the Hudson Valley region and shared the stage with international platinum-selling recording artist, Eric Hutchinson at the iconic Darryl's House Club in Pawling.

She is currently working on her first full length album alongside her bandmates and fellow creatives, Thomas McDermott - rhythm guitar, Gary Ljundquist - bass, Peter Pellgri - drums, and Charles Costa of Resonance Music Studios on keys and lead guitar, set to release in early 2023.

Nat Reeves is one of the top bassists in jazz. His supportive and stimulating playing has uplifted countless sessions and recording dates and he has led his own CD State of Emergency. As a performer, and an educator at The Hartt School's Jackie McLean Institute of Jazz, Nat has made a strong impact on the jazz world.

Nat has worked and recorded with the Who's Who of jazz including Jackie McLean, Donald Byrd, Art Taylor, Mulgrew Miller, Kenny Garrett, Pharoah Sanders, George Coleman, Eric Alexander, Steve Davis, Harold Mabern, George Cables, David Hazeltine, Anthony Wonsey, and Joe Farnsworth among others.

Nat Reeves has performed around the world, at the San Francisco, New Orleans, Detroit and Atlanta Jazz Festivals, and with Pharoah Sanders at Dizzy's at Lincoln Center. At the end of 2019, an event was held in Nat's honor at the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art -- "The Life, Times and Music of Nat Reeves."

As the original drummer and one of four singers with Atlantic Starr, Porter Carroll, Jr. helped create the hits that made the band and its amazing vocals, tight production and energetic stage performances one of the most successful, international R&B/Pop bands of a decade. Other credits include background vocalist for chart-topping recording artists, Shania Twain, Spyro Gyra, Melba Moore, Donny Osmond, Michael Bolton, Howard Hewett and Marion Meadows among others.

Carroll has now joined Daryl Hall and John Oates, performing worldwide in his new roll as percussionist & background vocalist, and is a regular on Daryl Hall’s, Webby Award-winning television smash, Live From Daryl’s House.

In between tours, Carroll is the lead singer for an innovative nightclub act co-developed with Stanley Turrentine and Donny Hathaway, guitar standout Wali Ali, titled, "Evolution Of Cabaret" which he now brings to the BeanRunner Café.
