Frank Sole is a guitarist, singer, songwriter and teacher based in Green Village, New Jersey. His music is rooted in Jazz guitar, but he is equally adept in classical and blues stylings. Currently, Frank is the guitarist for vocalist Mickey Freeman and is the bass player for violinist Dianne Perry and her band. Recently a guest musician with the Les Paul Trio reunion, Frank played alongside Frank Vignola, Vinny Raniolo, Lou Pallo and Nick Parott. He is also the lead player in his long standing duo “Frank and Hank” with guitarist Henry Nerenberg. Educated at Rutgers University with a degree in classical guitar, Frank studied Jazz with Wally Richardson, Ted Dunbar and Chris White. He is a past board member of the New Jersey Jazz Society and a frequent performer at The Folk Project in Morristown, New Jersey. His performances are always varied and entertaining.
